It is normal under some conditions for the air to rush through that valve making a noise that sounds like a leak. One of the truck that I drive does it while the trailer brakes are releasing. I know that you don't have a trailer, but, if you have a leak elsewhere, it is going to make noise at that valve. So don't pull that valve out until after you have checked for leaks as the other guys have told you.
