You previously posted about this issue on the "Farmall Forum", and a couple of us tried to help you, with no reply from you.
You've apparently given up on us (without the courtesy of a reply), and smuggled your problem over to this Forum.
You need to tell us (as I replied before) if it's actually losing spark when it quits running and coasts to a stop.
You ask "if 12 volts isn't always supplied to coil will that shut it down".
OBVIOUSLY the ignition can't make a spark if the power supply to it is interrupted. "12 Volts" is "nominal", when the engine is running the voltage ahead of the ignition resistor (which you say you have) is probably around 14.5 Volts. My advise,in addition to checking the spark as it dies is to monitor the voltage supplied to the coil while it's running well, while it's dying, and after it stops.

An improperly torqued capscrew on an engine head or a shear bolt that is too hard on the driving shaft of a bushog can create havoc and make an expensive and uncalled for repair. Lets examine the purpose and design of these fasteners in order to ensure their proper use. Fasteners are probably one of the aspects of mechanics that is given the least amount of thought.
