Im working on my first tractor, 51 John Deere b. When I bought it the bolt that is connected to the top part of the oil filter housing was broken which it made it difficult to disassemble. I had the bolt welded back to that part and it is off center about 1/4". So, I have re-installed the oil pump, oil lines (which were challenging) and the welded bolt to top of filter part. All new gaskets and seals. I had to really push and force the bottom bowl and nut/bolt to bottom of tractor and bolt welded to oil filter. Finally, do you JD pros think I'll have an issue with leaking and future issues with filter area? Thanks in advance.
