Yes, the blower ran off the front pto on both tractors so the engine rpm had to be kept down or else that blower would be turning way faster than originally intended on the original 540 gearbox. It works well as the 4020 has way more power than required even at low rpm. Plus very slow forward motion for when the snow gets really deep.
