Mine are smaller, M4800 and a B3000 but I never have any problem with cold starting. I have hose heaters in both but don't always plug them in beforehand although I like to if time will allow it. I've never had a problem with either starting in the cold. I do run 10x30 grade oil in the B3000, 15x40 in the M4800, in the winter as I use the 3000 tractor everyday. They both started at 17 below here a couple weeks ago without plugging in. I also have a Kubota Diesel Commercial mower that will always start good in the cold if I have to move it around in the winter.
