Most of these folks have the best intentions, although often misguided. I have had issues with locals adopting stray dogs, [I love dogs ] and turning them loose on our cattle. Sometimes that big dog to give to a home because he needs room to run is a guy trying to get rid of a problem dog. When the laws about horses changed here it made it hard to get rid of old horses that are going to look bad no matter what. And horse saviors don't know what they are getting into. We even had a hog rescue near us for those folks that bought those cute pigs and found they had acquired something they did not understand.
