Hi, my friend lives where he gets a fair amount of snow. He went to a big tire co. nearby that deals with a lot of logging truck owners. They had a bunch of broken chains about. They gave him several. He made some for his Ford 4000 out of the best pieces. He said they work pretty good. But I think the chains that cross the tires and join 2 laterals with a ring would be best.
