As was already said this is called a Wolf Moon. Its the first super moon of the year, moon is aproaching perragy, 30,000 mi closer to earth than at appogy... so it looks big.
On the 31st it will be called a Super Blue Blood Moon. It will be at perragy, the second full moon in a month and there is an eclips of the earth so the suns rays will be blocked by the earth and the moon will glow red. There has been a lot of interesting stuff going on in the sky lately.
