My son has a 65 MF also. I hate to drive it. Hard to back things. Because you set so low. Clutch comes up to high. If was mine I would raise the seat and lower the clutch petal. We have two left hand brake tractors. One is a backhoe. The other is a hydrostatic John Deere. Push inside petal on the right to go forward and outside petal to go back. Set your speed just like cruise control on your pickup. Best loader tractor I have ever drove. The last 2 cylinder JDs made in Brazil had a left hand foot clutch and both brakes on the right. Try a newer JD with cab, you won’t go back.
