Didn't research Exide, but it appears Johnson Controls (DieHard, Interstate, "AC Delco", etc.) is keeping jobs here.

This amount includes an announcement today of an additional $50 million to increase capacity at 8 U.S. plants by 10 million batteries in 2017."
