My 2001 Chevy Tracker had Pirelli Scorpion "all season" tire on it. They were horrible in snow and ice. I had no idea how bad they were until I replaced them with Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 "studless" snow-tires. I used to think it was the Tracker itself that was bad. NOPE. Night and day difference with the new Bridgestone tires. I am amazed at the difference. I had to always use 4WD to go up my driveway in the snow and now can get up in 2WD most of the time. To be honest- never in my life have I had such a difference between two types of tires. Either the Pirellis are real bad, or the Bridgestones are real good. Not sure which.
