I searched several different locations and posted messages about a problem with a JD 310sj tc backhoe so far no luck, so I'll try here neighbor has a 310sj tc backhoe that the hoe boom won't raise unless you hold another function open with it at it full range of travel, also the bucket doesn't have much strength when curling in, solenoids are working on each cylinder valve. this machine has electric arm rest mounted controls and form what I can find the hyd. system is open center, this set-up uses only 2 lines from the tractor to the hoe each of which are teed to the boom cyl. control valve assy., then run to the dipper cyl. control valve assy. and are teed to it, then on the bucket cyl. valve assy. there one is connect to each side of the valve, each valve has 4 solenoids mounted to it and a module mounted on top with a multi pin wire connector, can anyone explain how these valves work in unison to control fluid flow being this is suppose to be an open center system and the valves are connect together as if it were a close center system I have worked on similar open center set-ups but not like this one with all the electronics, the problem is most likely something simple but not having any info. on this set-up I at a cross roads, I would like to be able to help him out with this problem been he asked me to, he said the last mechanic even as knowledgeable as he is tried and walked away, he don't mind paying for repairs but he doesn't like paying a 100 plus dollars and hour for someone to be trained on his time plus the unnecessary parts changing, thanks in advance for any info in advance
