I know...I know...whatever two people agree on, but help me out just a tad please.
I was told that by serial number, it's a John Deere 1940 model A that was purchased in '39. It's been sitting for years in a shed and is about to be pulled out into the trees. It doesn't run at the moment but the motor will turn freely.
The owners don't want it to go to scrap but rusting away in the tree grove is a bit undignified for it also. I have no idea the true condition or what it has for tires or anything at this point so lets say its just your average run of the mill Model A like every other of the thousands that were produced.
