Large dairy that I used to handle with Farm Credit in the 90's had lots of nice machinery, but an old SAME from the 70's was pulling the manure spreader. I joked with the owner about the sorry looking tractor ("I like that SAME- its a shame to call it used"). He said they had decided long ago that they would wear out a tractor before replacing it- and that ol' thing starts every day, hauls manure for a couple of hours, then does it again the next day.
