Assuming all the rafters are straight except for the broken ones, I like adding the sister rafter screwed to the straight section below or above the crack and then jack on the sister with a pipe as perpendicular to the rafter as possible. Once you push the rafter straight you can screw the other end, similar to the drawings provided. The concern with using a comealong and jack boards is keeping them in line as you put pressure on them.
For integrity of the barn a hardwood sister rafter provides the best repair for expansion and contraction and stiffness.
