Has anyone on here ever built a log splitter from scratch? Anyone used a power steering pump as a pump for one? Specifically the Eaton style on my old 1841 industrial. I've read both good and bad. am just looking for more input. It would be more of a project than a mission. No hard woods. Just mostly dried beetle kill trees. Thanks for the input and "positive" data. Jeff
