Every case is different for sure BUT when Congress has dished out 17 Million$$ in settlement money over the last however long something has sure been happening and a whole lot of folks had to know what was happening.Look at the Weinstein situation that went on for years with a lot of complicit people.Look at Penn State University situation a few years ago and there were a lot of people that knew the situation and said nothing.Up until lately apparently the Gov't and companies just turned a blind eye to situations so speaking up was at best a waste of time or at worst a career killer and get blackballed in ones industry.Things change in my opinion have changed for the better on this subject.Of course all claims are not valid and all actions are not the same so its a mistake to lump it all together and I agree if the complaint is 30 or 40 years old I'm more skeptical than something recent that can be validated.
