Well, nothing is ever completely dead but for most part, I think we would have to agree that for most day-to-day lettering of any sort that one could think of and for any application, it's pretty much all computer-generated. I would guess at more than 99% which would make the hand lettering a thing of the past in my opinion. But good for those still insisting on the old way of doing things, sort of like hand pin-striping on collector cars, the real expensive stuff is done by hand.
