When I look at the John Deere parked beside the Massey it appears the JD 146 loader sits more toward the front of the tractor than the old Cancade loader does on the Massey. Consequently Massey might have a little more weight on the back axle. Cast rear wheels too as opposed to the stamped steel wheels on the JD.
