I remember one year when it was muddy my dad would get up at 3AM when the ground was froze, pick the wagons full, do the milking, eat breakfast unload the wagons and pick and unload until noon. By then it was getting too greasy. He would take a nap until milking time, do the milking and chores then eat supper and go to bed and start over the next day. One time he took the 4020 with the New Idea picker and wagon and backed it up to another wagon.
