I guess which forum one utilizes determines the ease to know which threads have been read/replied to. On Modern view threads that have been read/replied to will be "highlighted & normally higher up on 1st page"(depending on forum traffic at the time) not buried 2,3 or more pages down as in Classic view.
I guess it gets back to the old saying "different strokes for different folks"! :lol:
