If it has a molded upper portion, cast into the edges are some wood reinforcements.
You can find them with an electronic stud finder. The grab bars should come with some large stainless screws. They will hold if you can get them in the reinforcement.
If it is just the flat panel type, go above with the stud finder and determine where the wall studs are, go into them if possible.
Depending on the length of the bar, sometimes you can only get a good fasten on one end. Then you will need some expanding type fasteners to get behind the fiberglass and/or drywall. The bar mfg will have recommendations, but usually have to be purchased separately. I like to silicone around the brackets to keep water out of the wall and prevent the fastener from rusting.
