My father used 2 types, one you screw the inside piece into the hose and then there was heavy duty clamp with bolts in it that held it in, those we could repair right out in the woods when logging. The other type like Moresmoke linked to we did in the shop in a vise. I think both styles of fitting were good to 2500 psi.
