I was part of that group. Here are a couple more pics. That's me driving the John Deere. The picker is an IH 1-PR. The New Idea picker is a no. 7, vintage 1950.
Picking corn was my favorite part of harvest also when I was growing up. I was usually the one hauling and unloading the wagons.
