I've seen pump drive shafts that were wrong too. Had a 4020 pump years ago that had extreme wear at the oil pump drive end so a new shaft was installed. Repair shop could not get the repaired pump in time. Pulled the new shaft out, and when both old and new where clamped in the vise at the rotor drive end side by side with straight rulers on each top end, there was at least a ten degree difference. New shaft was made wrong when compared to the old one..
