Exactly! First rear blade I owned is the one I mentioned in the previous post. I had to remind myself to not get carried away with it, thinking that it's still on a 3 pt hitch, a real stout one, but still, top link and draft sensing, or just plain ole parts/hdwe that may not hold up under abuse + shock loads which are really abusive.
I like this one you acquired, it has about the same geometry as mine. For what a good heavily built one costs used, you can get a lot of use out of them for a variety of tasks.
You did well on the purchase, and 8' is great when making just a single pass, you can clean up or bank up the sides after you have a path opened up.
