Where are you putting the poison and traps?
A lot of people find a mouse in the tractor or vehicle, and put the poison and traps in and around that tractor or vehicle.
What that does is attract more vermin TOWARD the tractor. They are attracted to the poison because it smells like food.
What you want to do is lure them AWAY. I always put the poison around the perimeter of my buildings, so when they come in they say, "Oooh, dinner!" gobble it up, and drop dead before they can get to my truck/camper/tractors.
