I have an MH-50 in good original condition. As was said on a previous post, the MH-50 was a transitional tractor--same mechanically as the Ferguson 40 and the MF-35, but with different sheet metal. Paint: MF red, i think, but only on the sheet metal. All castings, grille, etc are painted a metallic gold, NOT SILVER. The decals on the hood just say "MASSEY HARRIS" in block letters. If you'll e-mail me, I can send you a picture of my tractor. robb@powind.com : : : I'am restoring a Massey Harris Model 50 Tractor. The paint is so poor I can't see if it should be Massey Harris Red or the Darker Massey Ferguson Red, Perhaps someone has the paint no. Also need to locate where I can purchase Decals for this tractor. Any help on this will be appreicated. Thanks : : Try: Diamond Farm Book Publishers; R.R.3, Brighton, Ontario K0K 1H0 Canada. They show decals for a MH 55 and 555 but you could ask about the 50. Their number is 613-475-1771. : : From Brian : Brian: I'd be careful. The MH 50 was a transition tractor for Massey. The one's I've seen are more MF than MH. : Color, history, background can be obtained from the man who knows much about Masseys, the editor of the Wild Harvest News. : Keith Oltrogge @Keitho@sbt.net Good luck
