That's exactly why I "don't follow in politics! It'd be different if there were reliable, accurate sources that were impartial to all sides, but offhand, I don't know of any. Can't spend all my time fact-checking.
There used to be a saying in the court system; "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth". What that's saying is, even if all the information given IS true, if even one other thing is left out, then it's no longer "The Truth". I spent most of my life being someone you could trust "most" of the time! Well, that don't cut it. Still working on it, and imagine I always will, but I try to find the truth in everything. Sadly however, the world is a much uglier place the deeper I dig. So now I just try to keep up with my little corner of the world - which is much smaller now than what it was a few decades ago.
