Here is a chart with recommendations for CaCl2 required to mix depending on temperatures. Looks like I would need the 4.2 pounds per gallon of water mix. According to the table that would give me just over 900 pounds of weight per 18.4x30 tire. It would take a stack of cast iron to replace that fluid.
Another alternative for the winter, hang a snow blower on the three point hitch.
