They make a great pet if you catch a real young one. Had one when I was probably 5 or 6 years old, brother caught it, lived in harmony with 2 dogs and some cats, slept in is cage, door was always open. Picture around here some where of me pulling him in a wagon behind my Farmall pedal tractor in the local fair parade, got a blue ribbon. He was nuts about raisins and fun to watch eat bread, he'd slosh it around in water and set there holding the crust.
