Whatever you buy make sure it has a round stump-jumper/blade mount! We bought a new ($2300) Bush Hog brand a few years ago and I have had problems with the oval blade mount hitting stumps/rocks and bending up to hit the frame. I cut out some gussets and welded them in to reinforce it and it's been OK since, but I am disappointed in Bush Hog. The previous King Kutter was round so there was no leading edge to strike anything. If I were buying again I would take a serious look at KK.
