It is a lot of work to do that. I did a 201 3 cylinder in a 455C backhoe a couple years ago. The machine work for mine was $1100. I had the block decked and the head redone to make sure the valve protrusion back to spec. With the issues those blocks have with cavitation/poor castings, they wouldn't touch the block without boring/sleeving/boring. That was fine with me though, it needed a bore to clean up the cylinders anyway, and I sure didn't want to have to pull it out again. Never ran better now.
