We have a cat that decided to get a little too curious one evening. It was about this time last year. The cat got close to a skunk and was hit point blank directly in the chest!! :shock:
That poor cat kept trying to come up to us for SOME sort of relief....then, just trying to get some kind of attention. After a while, she seemed happy just getting yelled at to get away! *lol*
Here's the weird part. Her chest is all white hair....or at least it USED to be. Now there's a large yellow stain in the white hairs. It started off as a very bold, dark yellow patch and has slowly faded over time, but is still there over a year later. Can still smell the skunk a little when she's been out walking through wet grasses.
