The problem is you're going to go through all the trouble of identifying the tractor, only to find out that you won't be able to get parts for it.
A CaseIH parts guy is going to tell you that there is no such tractor if you go to him with some number like "2424." They don't have the industrial models on the books.
IH's industrial equipment went to Dresser, which then got absorbed by Komatsu. The odds of you being able to find any parts for the tractor at a Komatsu dealer are slim to none.
