We had a dry summer in the Pacific NW, lawns all died down. Went on vacation Oct. 3, came back yesterday, its been raining but no killing frost yet, so the lawn is 3 inches tall- supposed to quit raining tomorrow, so will mow it about Wed. or so- Don't have to schedule as close for that kind of stuff now, as I have RETIRED! Frosts have been coming later and later, so common now to mow through November, then start up again in March. Thank heaven for zero turns!
