I still lean toward Honeysuckle (of some variety)... as dad had planted some Honeysuckle that developed red berries in fall on the farm where I grew up - and your photo looks very much like them.
But just did some reading and found that Autumn Olive should have a silvery backside on its leaves, and speckled scabs on the berry skins. I think that the Autumn Olive leaves look slightly more elongated than the various Honeysuckle leaves.
Honeysuckle berries can make humans ill.
Sounds like Autumn Olive berries MIGHT be edible.
It could be that both plants will "take over the world".... as both are said to be invasive. :)
