I started with Safeco 17 years ago, then they got bought out by Liberty. Had one claim on a 3 year old car that my wife totaled and they paid us more than we paid for the car new. Since then their rates have been creeping up, tried to get them a little lower last spring so we went on their "low mileage" plan. I found out they wanted mileage reports every 3 months...but most of my miles are driven during the summer, so it made it look like I drove a lot of miles - so that won't work. Looks like my job this winter is to get quotes from other companies. They insure 5 vehicles and the house for me, you would think they would work with me a little harder.
