Greed is in human nature. Everyone has it. Be it greed for higher minimum wage to wanting to make billions. Or being greedy for that new tractor/car/house.
While I'm not up on what happened with the photo site companies have to make a profit. They have to have cash on hand to pay for raw materials or finished products to put on shelves, money to pay investors and profit. Farmers farm to make a profit too. Mom and pop shops have to make a profit too.
A company has to pay workers, buy materials or product, maintain buildings/pay leases, pay investors and make a profit. And yea, they have to make that profit because both state and the federal government want their taxes too.
Now sometimes companies make huge errors of judgement. I think the site mentioned has done that. They cut their own throat. They thought they had everyone hooked and people would gladly pay up. Guess not.......
