I don't think anyone makes a good regulator. In 1995 dad and I restored his wd45 diesel. The regulator lasted about three months. Put on another one it lasted about the same. Then dad found an old used Delco regulator in one of his buckets of junk. We put that one on and it's been working for 20 years.
tried to replace the regulator on a Case 930 took four to get one that worked.
Dad tried to replace the regulator on a 65 Ford pickup. Went through six of different brands( Carquest, NAPA, and others) before found one that worked.
