Thank you for the quick reply, I'm just north of you a hundred or so miles ( Terrell ) This gen set was working when pulled off of an enclosure that also contained a 671 Detroit Diesel and a whole lot of hydraulics. You could get stinking dirty just by turning around up in that enclosure. I used to complain to the operators that they needed to shut the lights off ( main purpose of this generator ) before bringing the engine down to idle. Nope- they let it run with 8 kw worth of halogen bulbs just glowing dimly.
