You've obviously never bought collector car insurance. When I got my first old car, a 1937 street rod, imagine my surprise that they wanted $200 per year for full coverage. Limited to 5,000 miles per year, but higher mileage is not that much more. I don't think $200 per year is expensive for liability, comprehensive, and collision for a value higher than what I paid.
