In US vs Miller the Supreme Court decided that miller (a convicted criminal) did not have the right to own a sawed off shotgun because it wasn't a weapon that had military use, at the time shotguns were the "evil" weapon. So based on only that decision, we could have grenade launchers, full auto weapons, etc. I don't think that's all a good idea but it would fit the decision. I don't know what the answer is, if it was a simple answer we would have already stopped these shootings. If passing a law was all that was needed then France wouldn't have had their shootings, or Germany, or any other country. I don't completely agree with you, although I can understand it, but I do appreciate you articulating your opinion in a civilized manner.
