Ya a had gun shooting up to the 32nd floor would be a long shoot if you figure every floor is 10 feet that would put it out at a tad over 100 yards. But it can be done and even a few pot shots at the shooter could have at least slowed his rate of fire down so people could get to cover. I know I have taken deer at 60 or so yards with a 44Mag hand gun
