Assuming you are speaking of the B2650 vis a vis the B3350 (or possibly the L3301.
The federales have mandated Tier IV for anything above 30 PTO (I believe) HP. The B2650 and the L3301 come in below the current limit so can be sold without the DEF nonsense. The B3350 and L3901 are Tier IV.
I have 4 Kubotas including an L6060 and a M9960, both Tier IV. All have been flawless. I sometimes check the display on the 6060 and 9960 to determine if and when it regenerates. If I do not check the display, I do not notice when it does.
No, I do not like the Tier IV nonsense, and I especially do not like the significant added cost, but so far it has worked flawlessly.
