I've got a hole in the corral right now. A pipe started leaking under the waterer. There was just about 10 feet of old galvanized pipe that hadn't been replaced with plastic and that's what went. The pipe's replaced,but I have to get the hydrant,lift pipe,shut off and insulated tube back in so I can get the hole filled back in and pour a new cement slab. It's been so danged hot since I got filling silo last week that I just haven't had it in me to work on it. I need to get at it in the morning and at least work until it gets too hot again. Supposed to start cooling down about Wednesday. I need to get some holes patched up in the east feedlot too when I pour that slab. That'll take another days work to get the manure dug out of those to get ready to pour. It never ends when there's cattle around.
