The tractors sold today will not be working even 30 years from now. The Companies have built in computer controls that allow the company to have built in obsolescence. In 10-20 years the OEM manufacture will just stop supporting the electronics for the tractor but will still enforce their patients. So they will not have the part but they will keep anyone else from making it either.
Some of the computers on the JD 9400 combine are no longer available. Know a fellow that had to search for a year for the one to fit his combine. He Sold it ASAP. He replaced it with a low houred JD 7720. No computers!!!!
