Don't recall seeing it on a trailer, but I might just follow your lead! Wife repainted our old trailer a couple years back, did some fancy little designs and added a lot of reflector tape. Paint is peeling away and the reflector tape is fading. ...Guess that's why I hate to paint. *lol*
However, I've seen entire vehicles that were coated with bedliner. Have been considering doing the same with our trucks, as we have 20 miles of gravel roads to kick up rocks.
The newest trailer has such flimsy aluminum fenders that a few good coats of bedliner would certainly help them last longer.
