I recently lost my debit card. Discovered it missing on Saturday evening, after my bank was closed. Looked at my wife's card, got the phone number to call to report it lost and turn it off.
What an ordeal! Got the runaround, asked the same info over and over, transferred, hung up on, put on hold, foreigners I could not understand...
I never found out for sure if it was stopped, could not get any info about the last use or if any additional uses had occurred.
Wasn't until Monday morning when my bank opened that I was able to make any progress. Found out it did get canceled, no unauthorized uses, thank God! Had a replacement card in a matter of minutes.
