chris, did you install the controller? on my 06 w/t there was an accessorie harness i had to install under the dash for the controller. then under the hood, there is a large wire harness coming up below the master cylinder that branches off to the rear of the truck. there should be a blue wire, prolly 12 gauge, that is the power supply to the rear of the truck to activate the brakes. mine was not hooked up from the factory, the wire was terminated at the end of the harness near the under hood fuse box. you may need to extend that blue wire to the power output of the brake controller unit. see if the blue wire is there, and then check there for power when the controller is activated. if you have power there, there must be a break in the wire somewhere under the truck.
